Todays FMF word, doubt, is perfect. Along with this weeks writing prompt from Kate came an invitation to join Anita Ojeda’s 28 Day Writing Challenge for the month of February.
I have never considered myself a writer, but I do enjoy words, well-written stories and blogs, etc. So it seems daring for me to even enter into a group of writers. My doubt is high.
The biggest joy will be reading the other participants in the group. So, I will take the plunge, try to ignore my huge doubt and plan on having fun and learning much. Thank you, Anita, for hosting this opportunity.
Canโt wait to join you for the 28 day writing challenge! I appreciate your willingness to move beyond doubt with steps of faith.
๐ Thank you.
I was doubtful when I first posted on FMF too, but there was no need to be.
Just stopped by from FMF #17
That’s encouraging. Thank you!
What’s the challenge??? I’ve done th
It is a 28 Day Writing Challenge. I’ll send link in email.
Good for you getting past the doubt and joining! This will be my second time doing Write28Days and it’s a very friendly and supportive community. Visiting from FMF19
Thank you kindly. If it is anything like FMF writing prompts, it will be terrific! ๐
I don’t think of me a writer;
that job never was for me,
’cause these folks seem wound tighter
than amphetamine-ed bee,
rushing hither, yon, and back
from life to open laptop,
minds always under attack
by characters that would not stop
until they were at last released
upon the pages, bolden ink,
and only then would they be pleased,
but surely as pigstys doth stink
more characters take residence,
leaving madness as their evidence.
This makes me smile, Andrew. Seems like an accurate description of a writer. I am a passionate ole horse gal, I see me in your words—running back and forth, always under ‘horse thought’ attacks. ๐
An awesome challenge! You got thisโฆ I have No Doubt!
Thank you, Nancy, for being a kind cheerleader! ๐๐

Made me think of the message in the book entitled ‘feel the fear and do it anyway’; sometimes it is the only way to overcome the self doubt, over and over again.
Indeed so, thank you for your thoughts.
